Week 18 of the NFL is in the books! Fantasy Football season is over. Don’t be sad. Your new team can’t wait to meet you. Congratulations to League Champions, runner-ups, and first-time FF players – you made it! Let’s take a look at our Week 18 Fantasy Football Top Performers!
QB1: Nick Mullens
Mullens led the NFL this week with 396 passing yards, 2 touchdowns, and 2 interceptions. The Vikings will not be heading to the post-season but Mullens was out there slinging it this week- who will be under center for Minnesota next season? Kirk Cousins, Josh Dobbs, the “hot” Nick Mullens?
RB1: Jonathan Taylor
The Colts were a first down away from making the playoffs, but Taylor was not in on the last play of the game against the Houston Texans, despite having 188 yards on the ground. A questionable call that Indy will be thinking about for the coming weeks. JT continues to be one of the NFL’s premier ballcarriers and I expect the Colts to be fighting for a playoff spot when rookie QB Anthony Richardson is in the fold.
WR1: Nico Collins
On the first play of scrimmage, Collins set the tone for the Houston Texans. He torched the Colts’ secondary for a 75-yard TD on a beautiful double-move route and his quarterback put it right on the money. Nico Collins was UNSTOPPABLE as he finished the day with a playoff-berth, 195 receiving yards, and a touchdown that set the tone for the entire AFC South affair.
TE1: Dalton Kincaid
The rookie TE went all out for his team with playoff implications on the line (early home-field advantage) collecting 7 catches for 84 yards and a victory for Buffalo. When a rookie steps up on primetime, it’s a party. Kincaid’s energy was contagious as he continued to prove his case for stardom as one of the league’s top offensive rookies.
We appreciate your support this fantasy football season, we had a lot of fun, and look forward to seeing you win your league’s championship next year (or repeating) that’s fine too! Best of luck, until next time.
