The Madden 24 Week 18 Roster Update Release Date is coming soon, in time for the final week of the NFL Regular Season. Like always, this update aims to adjust player OVR ratings and other stats too. However, these roster updates do not make any gameplay changes or player likeness adjustments. Without further ado, let’s take a look at the final Roster Update for the Regular Season.
We believe the Madden 24 Roster Update Release Date to be today, January 4th per reports. Usually, we expect the new roster updates to be released before Thursday Night Football. However, there’s no TNF game this week, as all Week 18 games take place on Sunday. Nevertheless, last year’s Madden title still released a roster update on Thursday during Week 18. Therefore, we expect the same with Madden 24.

For Madden Ultimate team, Campus Heroes II has arrived as Zero Chill has come to a close. The community sentiment on Zero Chill was indifferent, the presents were extremely underwhelming and out-of-position cards continued to frustrate play-callers with oversized defensive backs jumping routes at 6’7 and 6’8. Same as years past, do better EA. We hope that Campus Heroes II features some college greats that have not been featured yet in this year’s game as duplicate cards have been prevalent thus far.
For Franchise, still no cross-play… something that is holding back the game from being at its best. An update that was allegedly supposed to be released in December is nowhere to be seen. Here is the last-known article pertaining to cross-play arriving to franchise.
Madden 24 is the best Madden since Madden 20. The gameplay, realism, mechanics, and Ultimate Team (for the most part) have been enjoyable. There is far fewer uncontrolled variables and random events, and I tip my cap to EA. Regular team 2v2s and 3v3s have been a community-favorite. Franchise is OK. The game plays well, we just need that update we have all been waiting for…
